My inspiration for starting Josie’s Wish in the Spring of 2022, sprouted from observing a rising need for lymphedema supplies and other medical equipment in my own home care agency, AT HOME REHAB, which I have been operating since 2002. I have witnessed patients struggling to procure affordable supplies. The biggest dilemma for the population of patients with lymphedema and wounds is securing these supplies, as they can be very expensive and are not covered by medical insurance.

This charity is named after my grandmother, Josephine, who has battled lymphedema for 30 years after surviving breast cancer.
